Medis100 8.1 with OS 10.4 ?

As far as I can remember V8.1 does not run with 10.3.x properly, so I would guess that it does not run with 10.4 without problems. I would suggest updating to V8.2 (currently there is a promo that will also give you the XR software features for a relatively cheap update price).

Thanks, but I have been using 8.1 with 10.3 for some time now with now problems, I would like to update to 10.4?

Then I would suggest getting either a cheap FireWire or internal HD and to clone the boot drive to the new drive (e.g. using CCC). Then install 10.4 and tell us if it works…
