  how much is my Media 100 worth?

  Hi,

  Long time Media 100 user-since 1997! Yikes. We have changed to FCP and have one Media 100 that we would like to sell. It is a little sad for me since this was my very first NLE system. I cut my teeth on it so to speak.
  I think I must have cut over 100 epsiodes of different TV series on it.

  We have the Media 100i XR with version 8.2 software and the DV option. We have the P600 board. We do not have the SDI option.

  I would be selling the two boards-P6000 and the DV board. The analog junction box. A USB to serial converter for the RS-422 deck control and the RS-422 cable All of the software including Boris Graffiti and the licenses to it.

  Do a quick search on ebay.
  They don’t bring that much.
  You might be better off donating the whole edit system to a church and getting the tax break.

  My situation is similar to yours in when i started with M100 and now happily cutting away with FCP. When I retired my M100 last fall the going rate on e-bay was about $65 so my landfill is now the proud owner of a once great system. Loved the breakout box but unfortunately couldn’t be reworked to run on anything else.
