• Media 100

  Transcoder isn’t working. :(

  Hi,
  I installed (twice) the Media 100 transcoder (Media 100 i V8) on another computer and I can’t open exported movies (default setting). Does anyone have any suggestions?

  What is happening if you try to open the movie in QuickTime player? Have you tried installing the Software codec?

  I trashed everything Media 100 on the computer, reinstalled the transcoder, and now it works. Thank you SO MUCH for responding – Floh, you really are a stellar person!

  I still would recommend installing the software codec instead of the Transcoder. You are able to write to Media 100 i codec as well as read Media 100 i files with Alpha channels. Both features are not supported with the Transcoder.
