  media 100 codec

  i’m doing video assist on a feature film where we’re using Media100i v8.1.1 for recording and playback, i want to be able to drag media100 files onto my laptop to composite them in After Effects. I’ve installed the media100 transcoder.component and the media100 codec.component on the laptop (a G4) but can’t even play the files in the QT player let alone AE. Any ideas?

  Install the software codec on your PowerBook. You should be able to read and write Media 100 i files.

  i’ve installed that as well, but no joy
