iso-639
Posted by Mauricio Mendes on June 3, 2020 at 2:01 pmHi:
I need to export a multichannel file where each audio track language should be identified by the ISO-639 standards.
I exported a multichannel Quicktime ProRes 442, but all its tracks are set to English (en). Where can I change that so I can correctly identify each audio channel?
Thanks in advance.Mauricio

June 8, 2020 at 11:01 pmAssuming all your audio channels are labeled and assigned in Premiere, when you export from Premiere and Media Encoder comes up, select the Quicktime format and under the Audio options, go down to Audio Channel Configuration. Click on the plus sign to add more channels to export out individual splits for your languages.

June 9, 2020 at 12:29 pmHi Andy:
This is the procedure to export multichannel Quicktime, and even labeling the audio channels correctly on the timeline, the exported file still mislabeled. Testing on MediaInfo, all channels are labeled as “English”.
I’m trying to send a video to the new Youtube Feature that will allow viewers to choose the language of their films, and the audio channels must be labeled according to the ISO-639 format. How can I make it happen?
