  Premiere doesn’t create preview cache files

  Hello,

  Today I have started working with premiere after a while and I notice that the videos, especially in 4K determined by a Mavic Air, are relatively slow, they get hooked, especially when I fast forward. I have an i7 7700k, GTX 970 and 16GB of RAM, SSD + M.2 + HDD for the stuff … hardware shouldn’t be a problem.

  Investigating I have seen that no cache files are created, and I am afraid it could be the cause of the slowness. I have empty cache folders. Before starting a project and loading the media, the program would load and create previews. Now it doesn’t.

  Also I see an option in general settings under processor, which mentions preview cache, but the dropdown only allows me to choose “none”. He searched long and long information, but I find nothing …
