  Premier Pro 14.0.1 Multicam problem?

  Premier Pro 14.0.1 Multicam problem?

  Hi all, I just updated to 14.0.1 and now, for some reason, I’m seeing V1 & V2 inputs on the source side of my timeline. Typically, there’s only 1 “special’ input that contains all of the nested Multicam tracks, correct? This way you can change angles once it’s in the timeline. Or, is there a setting that is causing this problem that I’m not familiar with. Things were working fine before the update. Can anyone who has updated [and possesses a Multicam clip check to see if you are having the same issue? (please see attached image) . Thanks! -Rob

  Hi there. I’ve just brought in some Multi Cam clips and it seems to perform as usual.
  I’m guessing you have checked your settings in the Multi Cam Source Sequence.
  Also make sure you are in the correct sequence and you haven’t accidentally opened the multi cam source sequence (done but pressing CMD/CTRL and double clicking on the multi cam clip.)

  The Source Patching Insert buttons there on the left show the channels available for the selected clips in the Project panel. I can’t see what you have selected in your project that may have caused this but either way, from your screen grab it still looks like Premiere is reading a single clip with two video channels/tracks so you should still be able to make your multi cam edit if your in the correct sequence.

  Happy to take a deeper look if needed.

  You are very kind to test this John. Thank you so much! I’ve been so busy I haven’t had time to look deeper into this until today. I finally figured it out it seem there’s a button on the timeline that needs to but set to “on” in order to basically make a precomp of the source mulitcam video tracks (and I of course somehow had it set to “off”).

  I’m attaching a jpg of the button so that if you or anyone in the future has this problem they might discover the solution here.
