  • embed timecode into still using export frame function?!

Desperately need to embed source timecode into a still image (jpeg or tiff) using the export frame function.
It’s not enough to have the source timecode in the file name, I need timecode embedded into the EXIF or XMP data somewhere. Can anyone help with this?

Premiere can’t do that, so you won’t be able to do this without going through the extra step of using a secondary EXIF editing tool.

Have you thought of just using the Timecode effect on the timeline, and just living with a small box of timecode on the image?

Sound like something FFMPEG might be able to do? Ask their forum?

Unfortunately it needs to be in metadata and not just on-screen. Thanks though.
