  Source monitor time line doesn’t scroll

  So I always change my source monitor to just view the wave form if I am clipping dialogues. I zoom in on the wave form to get a detailed view and I notice in the latest version Premiere doesn’t scroll with the play head. Maybe it never did and I simply forgot but I find it to be very annoying that my play head is just SOMEWHERE and I can not see it because the “time line” in the source monitor doesn’t move one inch. Is there a way to turn of page scrolling or smooth scrolling for the source window?
  I hope you know what I am trying to explain here.
