Training for Premiere & Video Editing In General?
Have any training recommendations for Premiere, and/or video editing in general? That are low cost and can be learned online, part time at one’s own pace?

I would start with free, doing some searches on YouTube, Vimeo, etc. Adobe also has video online for learning techniques and tools. Folks have made different tutorials over the years here on the Cow. Some of these have aged out over the years, but may still be helpful. THen there’s resources like lynda.com.
I imagine others will chime in with more.

Adobe CC 2017.1 (as of 8/2017)

Typically cutting short form from UHD MP4, HD MP4, and HD P2 MXF. -
Colin Smith used to work for Adobe and has a YouTube channel with lots of tutorials and tips. In particular, look for a playlist called Start Here.
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6npGHFAQO7c3Jb5ajfXbnHG-HOBQAq2GLynda.com will give you a deep, systematic dive on starting from scratch in Premiere, and you should be able to get through it all within a month’s subscription. You could hang onto the subscription for an extra month in case you need a refresher.

Yep. I second John’s suggestion. The VideoRevealed series is pretty well done. That’s where I always point people to.
