  • Flip Over video transition: Can I get a transparent Fill Color?

I want to use this transition to flip the graphic I’m applying it to — just the graphic. I’m getting a Fill Color setting that has no option for transparency. Is it really impossible to get a transparent Flip Over Fill Color?

Specifically, in my pic, the Ansel Adams photo is the background (a track below), the Legacy Title (“Yosemite or Tetons”) is on top of it, and I want to flip ONLY the Legacy Title. But that Fill Color setting thing has only a color option, not a transparency option.

Not on the Premiere Pro timeline, no. Your solution here is After Effects. Easy to do there.

    System:
    Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
    Win 7 64-bit
    32GB RAM
Adobe CC 2017.1 (as of 8/2017)
    256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from UHD MP4, HD MP4, and HD P2 MXF.

Does Essential Graphics allow you to rotate in the effects panel?

Use Basic 3D to flip the text.
