Premiere Pro 2018 Color Management Issue
I’m editing a presentation with some talking head shots I did on a Canon XF100. The project file I’m having problems with is on the Mac side, but the same project file copied to a Windows 10 machine doesn’t have this problem.
My video clip skin tones on the Mac side are greatly exaggerated and WAY too red/magenta. I don’t see this on the Windows side and my portrait still photography I shoot are perfect in Photoshop (on the same Mac), so I believe there’s something going on in Premiere.
I can’t see any switches to activate in Premiere Preferences (2018) and I’m editing on a Mac Pro (Late 2013), 2.7 GHz 12-Core Intel Xeon E5. The monitor is a Samsung U32D970, using the U32D970 profile in System Settings/Displays.
Again, my still photography on this machine and display look neutral. The flesh tones in my Premiere timeline are WAY too red/magenta, but the backgrounds look neutral gray.
What am I doing wrong or missing?
Thanks!
