  Premiere Pro timecode batch sync not working?

  So I have recently started editing a project with premiere, and they shot with matching timecode running on both the camera and the audio recorder. They use time of the day as the timecode.

  But for some reason I cannot get the syncing process to work in premiere. I tried using the “create multicam sequence” method, didn’t work. Then I tried selecting one video and one audio files at the same time and use merge clip and select “timecode”. But the merged clip is way off for some reason. I double checked, the time code on both clips are correct, (ie: I manually found the slate clap and they are on 08:33:35:16 for both clips) But when I use timecode to merge, premiere never puts them in the right place…

  Any thoughts, workarounds?

  I’ve synced many projects using auto sync with time of day running timecode in Avid. But in premiere it just gets frustrating….
