A quirky little thing, but, here goes.

From one large mp4 video I make several subclips.
When it comes time to edit them into the sequence I run into a weird little anomaly.

If the source (subclip) in point is at the beginning of the subclip, then all is normal when editing into the sequence using either the shortcut key “.” or drag the clip to the sequence from the source monitor. And I’m just using video, usually.

However, if I need to change the inpoint of the subclip in the source window, then lay it down, it does not recognize the new inpoint. It will always lay down the subclip as if the inpoint is at the very beginning of the subclip. I have to drag/trim and/or whatever to get the subclip to where I want it on the timeline. It does not matter if I drag the clip there or use the shortcut key.

    Anyone seen this before???
