  varying sequence settings

  Hello everyone. Quick one for you, so I’ve created a 1080 x 1080 sequence to make a video for instagram. The video is complete and now my boss says he wants a 1920 x 1080 version as well. When I go to copy and paste the timeline into the new sequence it just comes in in the 1×1 ratio. Is there anyway I can duplicate the timeline and bring it in with the full dimensions of the original clips?

  I would have right clicked on the sequence in the Project Panel and choose Duplicate. Open the duplicated sequence and go to Sequence > Sequence Settings and change the Frame Size. If the option to change Frame Size is greyed out, change the Editing Mode to Custom first.

  All clips are there but you will probably have to re-frame/re-scale them. All edits are intact.
