  Conforming??

  Ok, long time FCP and Avid guy here who hasn’t touched Premiere Pro in about 15 years.
  PP has to be the edit system as per the client.

  I’ve successfully imported and commenced to edit a one hour show with 9 cameras, all cut by edit ( no switch master).

  After closing down my system late last night and now powering up today, I find myself waiting for “conforming”… and waiting.. and waiting. So why, and what is happening and how can I get around this long ass delay everytime I open my PP? (I realize I had left the program open for days and didn’t have this problem until I did a computer reboot for updates)

  2017 iMac with G-Tech 4TB drive (not array).
