  Editing with Subtitles

  I have 12 video files that I edited, with subtitle captions edited and everything.

  The people I am working with want to take those 12 videos and edit some things out to repurpose them. Which is great, awesome.

  Is there a way for me to import the srt caption file, edit the video, and then re-export the video and the captions so I don’t have to wear our my mouse and trackpad on my laptop copy/pasting the subtitles back in?

  I know I can add my subtitle file as a track in Premiere, but, can I edit that with the video as I go? I’ve tried and thought I was getting close, but then, the timings were all off..
