  • Create Exception Clip to bypass Master Effect?

When you add a master effect to a file, it adds the effects to every clip of that file that it shows up on the timeline. Sometimes, if the lighting adjusted in the scene while shooting, that master effect won’t look as good at that time stamp where the light changed. Is it possible to mark one particular clip of a file on the timeline to be an exception and bypass the master effect while keeping the other clips of that same file in sync with the master effect?

Make a copy of the clip without (or a different) effect and swap out shots as needed, maybe?
