  • Functionality of clip drag commands changed in 2018? How reset

    Hello,

It seems with new PPRO CC 2018 12.1.1, the functionality of changing clip lengths and ripple edits have changed in the timeline. I’m not 100% on the proper terminology, but here’s what happens:

When I now drag with the mouse to either shorten, or elongate a clip in the Timeline panel, it automatically Ripple edits the sequence, pushing or pulling the timeline with it. I used to have to hold down a keyboard key (I think option), to enable that type of edit. Currently, if I hold down COMMAND as I drag the clips length, then it behaves as it used to, not ripple editing.

How do I change this back?

    Thank you.

There is a preference for this under Trim.
