  • How can I make markers automatically show up in my timeline (vs them popping up on each individual clip)

I’m looking to create markers with my keyboard as I go thru the timeline to select stuff I’m into, but when I hit “M” it creates a marker only on the clip. How can I change this, ideally without having to head over to my mouse? Thanks!

SOLVED: I just had to be in the Program view vs the Timeline view!

Another thing that would help in doing this is make sure that you don’t have any of your clips selected in the timeline. If you have a clip selected, it will put a marker inside the clip. If you have nothing selected in the timeline, it will put the markers up top. Glad you figured it out though ☺
