    Hi,
Hopefully someone can help me out with an interlace issue I’m having. I’m working on a TV show in which the specially shot material is 25p, the client wants the archive in the doc to be made 25p from 50i and the the graphics, according to tech delivery standards must be 50i- crucially all the graphics i add, name supers and rollers, must be interlaced.

In Avid i would de-interlace all the archive using motion effects but this isn’t an option on premiere.

Should I have an interlaced seq, interpret all the interlaced material as progressive and then export as an interlaced sequence? Would this even work?

    Many Thanks,

    Dave

There is an option in AE to deinterlace but I couldn’t follow the suggestions. I used a Red Giant plug-in to deinterlace and uprez some footage with CC 2013 but don’t know what current versions are capable of. Actually that CC 2013 had a deinterlace option.
