  CUDA Alpha Issues

  I updated to an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 yesterday (though I’ve seen this issue with my old GT 640)

  When I have CUDA enabled, I get random issues where the video displays black and only my overlays (with alpha channel) are displayed.

  The issue is intermittent, only happens in some of my sequences and I can’t find any consistency. The same overlay that has issues will work fine in 90% of the other instances it is used in the same project.

  My overlay is a Lossless AVI with Alpha exported from AE. I’ve also tried exporting to MOV and using Dynamic Link to use the actual AE composition. All give the same results.

  Are there settings for CUDA that I can adjust or is it simply ON or OFF. Also, is there an alternative to the Alpha channel or settings there that I could try changing?

  This is how it looks. And toggling back and forth is consistently giving the results shown below for this one instance where it’s not working.
