  • Premiere Pro CC 2018 missing codecs

Posted by Thomas Mellia on October 24, 2017 at 4:06 pm

    Hi all,
I’m new to adding a post but not to the site that has been extremely helpful many of times.
I just installed Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018 and the new Encoder and have found that many of the codes are missing.
No Android or Apple TV or iPad export setting presets in either Premiere or encoder.
Question: anyone else have this problem or know where I can find the codes to reinstall them?

    Thanks all,

That is correct: the H.264 list has been cleaned out as there were too many presets.
On windows its pain to scroll through them.

    Hi Ann,
Thanks for clearing this up, I found a lot of the presets were convenient for my needs.
Is there anyway I can reinstall some if not all of the presets, if so where would I find the presets that were in the 2017 version?
    Thanks again
    Tom

They are there somewhere, but you will have to go into the root of Pr. and dig around.
