    Hello,

I have premiere pro cc (latest version) I have a windows 10 PC.

    SPECS:

    Quad core i7
NVIDIA Quadro m4000 graphic card with 8 GB of Video Memory
    16GB of Ram

I have an SSD with windows 10 and all my applications

I have a 7200RPM HDD with Premeire Pro Project and media files

I have a SSD for cache and exports

The project I’m working on currently has two AVCHD .mts files which are each 2 hour long clips of a concert and I need to use all the footage. I actually transcoded these .mts files to cineform 10bit during the import process.

I have synced them up and done multi cam.

I then went and added some warp stabilizer to about every clip as the camera person operating one of the cameras was handheld.

Since applying the warp stabilizer to about every clip the timeline slows down. It takes about 5 min for each highlighted clip to show up in the program monitor. Saves take about 10 min just to complete.

One of my friends suggests I export the timeline to a new video file to finish the project since the warp stabilizer will be baked into a new clip but my concern is it will degrade the quality and I already have to export the finished project to DVD later.

What do you suggest I do?

export the warp stabilized footage to pro-res or dnxhd and work from those files.
