  • Drag sequence onto timeline without audio tracks

Posted by Julius Miller on September 7, 2017 at 3:55 am

    Hi there

Is it possible to drag a sequence from the Project window onto anther sequence on the Timeline and NOT include the audio tracks?

The reason I ask is that I make sequences that have titles and lower 3rds and then drag that sequence onto my main sequence on the timeline – and I would like to do it without having to worry about the audio tracks…

    Make sense?

Is this something you can do? Or is there a better way to do it?

    Thanks

    Julius

    Lock audio tracks first?

    Un-source patch audio track first.

You can drag the sequence from the project panel to the source window and then drag only the video from there by using the “drag video only” icon.

Why not just open the sequence and drag the items onto the tab of the timeline you want them in? Or pancake the graphics timeline?
