Exporting from Weird Frame rates/Audio bitrates
Alright, so I’ve got some screen captured video files I’m trying to edit down into clips. When playing the raw file back through VLC player, it plays just fine, everything syncs. Bringing it into Premiere, I’ve got an audio/video mis-sync.
I check the frame rates and audio bitrate, and they are really quite weird. Its a 20fps video with a 22khz audio rate. So obviously, it wouldn’t mesh well with a 24fps and 48khz comp. What can I do to help sync the audio and video file? I’ve tried everything from rendering it out with more/fewer fps, bringing it into after effects and rendering it out, trying to adjust settings in media encoder. Its becoming clear that I am likely going to have to stretch or shrink the video/audio files.
Is this my only way? Can anyone help me figure out the right speed stretch conversion? Am I just missing something all together? I am currently running the most recent updates in CC.
