  Clear transparent text on blur video

  Hello.

  I am a starter at Premiere Pro. I want to know how to make text clear on blur video. When I blur video, it blurs even transparent text. How can I make that only the part where text is, video isn’t blur?

  Hi Tyler,

  Do you mean that you want the text to appear as a non blurred part of the video?
  I’m sure you’ll get the results you are thinking of, but here’s the way to do it, the bolder the text, the better.

  Top track: Your title text.
  Middle track: Your video with Track Matte effect. Set matte option to the track above (your title) and mode to alpha.
  Bottom layer: Same video with blur effect.
