    Hey guys,

I’m currently editing some video together, and I do not have camera ‘shake’ per say. The camera is steady, however I was stood on a soft mattress whilst filming, so I have a very small amount of camera movement so it’s not fluid. Warp stabilisation does work to a degree, but it also adds a lot of wobble, even when I turn down settings to minimum values.

I’m not sure if there’s anything I can do? Even just small improvements would be better then not. It’s my first time shooting a MV so still learning and first time using and setting up a steadycam also, so I’m sure that would have had something to do with it.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Warp Stabilizer can do wonders it cannot perform miracles.
In other words not every clip is suited to stabilizer.
e.g. Too much shake, lots of movement in the foreground of a ‘steady’ shot.
Might want to look at WS in AE, much more parameters to work with.

haha, every time I googled for an answer, this exact quote is apparently the only answer!

My issue is, the subject is completely still (laying on a bed) the bed is completely still (its a bed). So the only movement is a slight jitter purely from camera because of the mattress sinking in and out where i’m stood and WS just creates a random wobble.

However, I’ll definitely give AE ago, thanks for replying!
