I have a clip in Premiere pro, there is some dialogue but behind the dialogue somebody was sweeping, it is very distracting. Is there a way to remove the sweeping while keeping the dialogue crisp?

mod could move thread to audition forum, but also, we need a 10 sec. wave download link to see if its possible.

If you want it badly enough, something like SpectralLayers Pro might help. It has excellent tools for selecting and manipulating elements in a sound file. Take a look at the first demo video on the product page, or search for its “harmonics selection” funtions, perhaps.

Isotope can likely get rid, or help but-
    1) Its a complex tool (like spectral layers) and so without someone who knows how to work it I doubt youll have much success
    2) Its costly (like spectral layers)

If you really want rid, youd be better giving it to a pro studio to fix, and better still, make sure that whoever shot it with sweeper in the bg gets fired so you dont have this ridiculous situation again.

Post a short sample so I can hear the issue if you want to to see if i can help
