    Hello,
I’m having an audio sync issue with my footage shot on iPhone 6 with Filmic Pro at these settings:
    1920×1080 32mbps 24fps audio: AIFF 48 kHz.
When played back through any software except quicktime, or when dropped into a Premiere timeline, the audio is out of sync with the video.

I read that the issue is that iPhone shoots with a variable framerate (which I found confusing because Filmic Pro was set to 24fps), and that I should just convert the video files to constant framerate using a program like Handbrake, which I did, but the problem persists.

    Anyone able to help me?

    Hi Kyle,

You need to record your audio in PCM in order to maintain sync in Premiere Pro. Filmic pro made this change in version 5.5. AIFF will not maintain sync.

    Good luck!

    Peter,

Does this mean I could convert my WAV files to MP3 and then I would have no issues in Premiere Pro?
