  Premiere workflow working with Amira Files

  My company is shooting a project tomorrow using an Arri Amira camera package.

  I have never handled the post using this camera and I am curious if anyone can share their workflow they used when working with these files. Anything in particular that I may need to know? I’ve done a bit of research already on the camera and the workflow from the Arri website. I feel more comfortable hearing other experiences before I go into the post on this project.

  All your thoughts and suggestions are more than welcomed. Thanks!

  I run a Windows based post environment, running PP 2015.4 with finishing in Resolve. We cut using proxies.

  Hi Scott,

  With Premiere Pro 2015.4 you may find this tip helpful if your project gets bloated and you notice any performance issues. May not be required but just in case check out this video which shows you how to reduce your project size when working with Amira footage.
