Videos – Reels
In the categories section of the “Videos – Reels” page is there a way to add a “miscellanies” category? Some of my stuff that I would like to put up doesn’t belong in any of the categories such as Trailer, Demo Reel, etc.

Hello Stephen,
We’d rather have categories for the videos so that things are organized. Maybe you can give us some categories to add?
If you can’t decide on a category go ahead and put it under the support category.

I don’t want to put it in the Support category because in my mind that category is for samples that you would put up to help better demonstrate a point in a forum on how to do something.
I do a lot of corporate type videos. I have created some really cool opens for them and only want to showcase the open. What are your thoughts on where that belongs?
Possibly an “Opens” category? That would include TV show opens and stuff? I’m not sure?

There is a television show category with a sub category of Episode Promo which seems to fit what you’re speaking of. Look at the other details under the television show category for other options like this.

-Short Films

When will it be added to the “Media Types” category on the main Video – Reels page?

It will be added once there are a few active videos that are using that category. Usually things are pretty slow taking off, we just added this category a few weeks ago. If you added a few good ones, I’m sure we’d turn it on =)

The TV category is not a catch all. If the video is for a TV show or is a TV show then you can put the video there. If the video is a trailer of some kind put it in that category. If you need a catch all category use the support or feedback category.

I’m sorry, I thought that is where you wanted me to add it. I never heard of that category until you wrote about it.
Once again, the video is not support and that is not a “media Type”. I don’t need Feedback on it. How do you feel about adding a “Corporate” media type?
