  • Proxy Editing delivering a Poor quality Export

I am new to proxy editing, but my understanding is that when exporting from a sequence that uses proxy files that the encoder will automatically work from the high rez media and therefore the export quality of the file should relatively ‘high quality’ also. (ofcourse depending on export settings understandably) but this is not the case. it appears to me that the exported file is giving me artifacts i’m sure are related to the proxy file.

I have toggled the sequence out of proxy edit mode to the high rez version and have used my usual export presets (which always give me satisfactory quality) but its not looking good

    any suggestions please?

can you post premiere monitor take a snapshot button and render settings?
    does it appear after:
    1. renderer software
    2. delete media cache
    3.uncheck accelerate h.264
    4. deselect import sequences natively
    5. uncheck use previews

also, if your original media is offline, premiere will default to using the proxy files.
