  Premiere to after effects workflow

  I want to work on a clip in after effects, but I want to take the a segment of the audio track with it (working on a music video), using dynamic link how can i achieve this? I tryed to link the audio to the clip and nested it, but it still plays back the original audio from the clip in after effects…

  Hi…..

  I think selection the clips in the sequence and choose copy

  then in AE make a comp of matching specs to your edit sequence and choose paste.

  that will bring over what you want….

  you won’t have dynamic link…

  but when you render from AE

  in the output module make sure to enable “include project link”

  this way if you right click and “edit original” in PPro it will take you back the the AE project and comp to make changes….
