  How to stop deleting other part of clip when moving clip

  Hi,

  Whenever i move a clip A on part of a clip B, it would delete part of clip B, how can I make it stop please ?

  Move it a track higher.

  In editing terminology, what you are describing is an overwrite edit. What you want to accomplish is referred to an insert edit. An insert edit will move all of the content on the track further down to accommodate the insertion of a new clip, whereas an overwrite edit will simply cover over any existing content that lies beneath the new clip.

  Thank you for the explanation ☺ i wish they would be a way so when you move a clip into another it’s would start dissolving one into another
