Once I have started a project, and I need to take it on my laptop and edit from home or on a business trip, is there a quick and easy way for Premiere to take all of the files that are currently in the sequence, and move them onto a portable harddrive? I work with thousands of files from several different locations on a hard drive. And the videos are long so its not that easy to just right click and locate in Finder then copy paste onto the portable. Despite all its weirdness as an editor, FCPX has this amazing function. Does Premiere CC have anything like it? Thanks!

You are looking for the Project Manager under the File menu.

    Hi Arron,

The link Daniel provided is a good one. Let us know if you have additional questions.

A few tips I wanted to mention when using the project manager:

    1. Try to avoid copying to full drive
    2. Uncheck ‘Include Preview Files’
    3. Try to avoid copying to a long destination/file path and/or name

    Happy New Year!
