Problem editing TS file
Hello guys,
I’m trying to edit some Periscope videos and when I download them, they come in TS format.
I’m not having trouble importing the material, but when I go to edit them: Adobe Premiere adds more seconds, even minutes, to the video that gets out of sync with the audio.Does anyone know what I do to fix this? I already checked the frame rate for video and sequence and both are 29 fps.

Personally, I avoid editing Transport Stream files, and convert to another format for editing. TS is great for transporting over the interwebs, not so much for editing.

Yeah, me too, but Periscope just give me TS option when I download the videos.
I tried to convert them with some softwares, but they don’t keep the aspect ratio of the videos. Can you tell some that would?Thanks!

What is the aspect ratio of the originals?
I would simply use Adobe Media Encoder, with a custom setting if it is required.

It’s an Iphone video, so it’s 320 x 568.
I tried Adobe Media Encoder, does the same thing as Adobe Premiere. The video has 5 minutes and in some way both programs import it with 15 minutes.

Does MPEG Streamclip do the same? (can it handle TS files?)

Not the same thing, but MPEG Streamclip doesn’t handle TS files and, I don’t know why, MP4 neither.
Just for you know, I’m using Windows 10.
