  ink on blotting paper effect

  does anyone know a good way of creating the effect of watercolour or ink dispersing on blotting paper (for use with a track matte).

  You might want to search the COW for “ink”. This has come up many times.

  The consensus is that the effect is best achieved practically, that is, with ink and blotting paper. But try the search nevertheless. Consider an advanced search.

  ink, paper, and a camera. Looks better than any fake, and faster too. Anything you see on MTV was done that way. Analog is the new Digital.
