  Premiere pro how to change levels on import?

  Hi all,

  Have spent the last day trying to solve this problem, any help would be greatly appreciated. So i’ve imported a Prores 422HQ 25p UHD file into premiere and see Luma levels sitting between 0-109%. I gather that this file is a full swing YUV and confirm this by dropping it into Avid. With YCbCr selected in Avid the Luma levels match what i see in premiere but when RGB is selected the levels are remapped to between 0-100% and look like they should. Have i understood this correctly?

  How do i then get premiere to recognize this? I have tried the levels effect but it just clamps anything over 100% before i can change settings. I have tried importing in different ways and creating a new sequence with maximum bit depth selected but the result is always the same. Is there a way to change this and the Yv waveform to 0-255 or does premiere always work this out itself?
