Loop in / out button missing
Posted by Andrei Goinea on October 26, 2016 at 8:46 pmHello!
Does anyone know how to get the loop button for in and out back above the timeline? For some reason they went missing and I can’t set the in and out for my sequence in order to export the video.
I am using Premiere Pro CC2015.
Thank you!

October 26, 2016 at 10:46 pmHello, Peter!
Thank you for your answer, but that article doesn’t solve my problem. As you can see in the snapshot, on the right side of the wrench there used to be two markers for in / out – which aren’t there anymore. I use them to set the beginning and end points before exporting a clip.
I hope that makes sense and you can help me.
Thank you in advance!

October 26, 2016 at 10:52 pmL.E: you can also find those markers on the After Effects timeruler; you use them to set an in / out for a loop playback

October 26, 2016 at 10:59 pmAh I’m sorry. I think you’re referring to the ‘Work Area Bar’. That is not on by default in Premiere. In order to enable you need to go to the Timeline menu (3 lines next to the sequence name) > Select ‘Work Area Bar’.
I hope that’s what you’re looking for!
You can also you In and Out points Premiere for rendering and exports specific sections. Keyboard shortcut I/O.
Let me know if I’m still missing the point ?

Indeed, the name of that field is “Work Area Bar”. It used to be default when I first installed Premiere Pro a few years ago. It’s good to have it back!
Have a great day!
