I have some TFF interlaced footage imported into my computer from VHS. I’ve done some color correction in Premiere Pro and looking to export it. Part I’m questioning, due to keeping this in a video file format was going to convert to progressive. Was curious if anyone knows if the seemingly featureless (just pick progressive) export option in premiere is any good, or the QTGMC deinterlacer that you can use with AVISynth and VDub would be a better path to take?

    Thanks.

Action depends on final destination of footage.

Final destination will be a 640×480 YUV encoded AVI with Lagarith or MagicYUV.

    Thanks.
