  Insert function not working right.

  Hey guys!

  I’m running Premiere Pro CC v10.4. When I try to insert something into my timeline, both from the source monitor and the project monitor, I get a message asking me to fit the clip. My playhead might be at 50 minutes and when I tell premiere to fit the clip, the clip is inserted at 30 minutes. I’ve tried the keyboard Macro as well as the icon in the source monitor.

  The insert function doesn’t work on my current project. But if I start a new project with the same footage I don’t have the problem. I want to be able to push insert and have footage from the source monitor inserted at my playhead. I assume this is some sort of preference error?

  Any ideas are appreciated! Thanks in advance!

  You have an in and out point marked in your sequence so it’s a four point edit.
