  Warp stabilizer: no motion

  Hello,

  I am trying to apply the warp stabilizer to my footage, but my footage is a little too shaky, so there is still movement and warping even on the no motion setting. However, it would be possible to crop still more of the video to achieve a more still picture. I cant find this kind of options for the “no motion”. There is only the maximum scale option, action safe margin and additional scale, all which do not do anything to the stabilization. ON the smooth motion setting you can scale the “crop less – smooth more” option, but there is no such option for “no motion”.

  Should I first crop and scale the picture myself, and then apply the warp stabilizer?

  Can you post a clip of what you’re seeing? There might be movement that isn’t properly stabilizable (is that a word?).

  Try applying the Warp Stabilizer in a couple of passes. Do one, export the clip and re-import it, then apply the effect again to see if you can get the results you want.
