AE7 Ram preview / Real time problem – HELP !!!
Hope you can help.
I am running 2 machines – 1 is a brand new quad G5 with 5 Gig Ram. Other is a G5 Dual 2Ghz 4G Ram.
When running AE7 Pro i seem to have the same problem. Whenever i try to ram preview (in any resolution) I NEVER get full Real time.
this is a major problem for me – i need to sync audio to vision.
Can anyone suggest why this is happening – its only in AE 7 – and my settings seem fine.
Also has anyone came across an Adobe error in AE7pro – when i minimise the application (or hide) the application does not reload or maximise again- it shows as running but then i have to force quit.
I phoned adobe several weeks ago and they had not heard of it happening.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Regarding your second problem (assuming you’re on Mac), it’s a bug — minimize by double-clicking on the window name at the top center of the window, and you’ll be fine. I seem to recall that ctrl-cmd-H works as well. Just don’t use the little yellow minus button.
