AE 7 Problem with things accidentally being selected when I click – release and drag
When I’m in the timeline and I click in an open area (Below the layers) if I immediately move the cursor uo to where the layers are som of them become selected??
To clarify I am not clicking and dragging… I click and release and then drag and items are being selected…
has any one else experienced this problem?

Yeah … AE7 seems more sensitive or something. I just slowed down a bit and the problem went away. Not sure why it happens …

There’s gotta be a way o fix this… It’s driving me up the wall!!!
Has anyone else been having this problem and come up with a workaround…
I’ve been using 6.5 to avoid it…… but it seems like it’s just gotta be fixable…

I’ve had this os OSX, and like you I switched back to 6.5cheers

Nope, I experience this issue in Tiger as well. This interface lag problem is fairly commonly talked about here and in other Forums. I think we’re stuck with it until an update is released.

Rats… that’s definately a huge drag…
If anyone from Adobe is listening, some of your devoted clientele is unable to use 7.0 because of this seemingly fixable problem… how about a patch… please 🙂
