  Cannot maintain audio pitch when slowed down to 20%?

  I have a bunch of 1080p, 120fps clips shot with my a6300. I notice sometimes when slowed down to 20% on a 24fps timeline, ticking “maintain audio pitch” causes the audio to blank out automatically, despite the fact that the waveforms are still on the timeline (audio meter shows NIL though).

  Any idea why this happens and how can I avoid it next time?

  have already cleaned media cache and checked default audio hardware.
