Label/name clips when ingesting P2 footge
So, now it’s the time to move from FCP 7 to Premiere Pro (CS6).
It’s great that PPro works natively with P2, but for me, being used to log and transfer (transcode) clips and at the same time naming them, I wonder if there’s a workflow similar to FCP 7?
I want to mark clips, label them and then copy/import them so that they reside on my scratch disk. (The reason is that the P2 offload disk serves multiple projects).
