I’m coming from the FCP7/X/Smoke realm and am rather fond of my Append Edit function. I haven’t found anything similar in Premiere Pro (2014.1) and was curious if I’m just missing it. In case you’re not familiar, append edits place the edit at the tail end of the current sequence, and it’s great for assemblies.

    Hey Nicholas –

I agree 100%. I was doing work in Premiere and really missed my “E” key. Great timesaver for assemblies as you can mark the in and out, hit “E” and you know the clip has been added to the end, no matter where the play head is.
