Does it still happen when you turn off MPE hardware?

I’m not sure what that means?

Now I get what you mean, and I just tried to turn it off and it didn’t do it anymore. But then I couldn’t play back my footage, and I have never turned MPE off before and it has been fine so far?

If you are trying to make a vignette, check the Inverted box in the mask filter.

Thanks, but I don’t know why people come to the conclusion that I’m having problems with making a vignette?

I trying to figure out what causes the mask tool to act weird, as shown in my video…

I found out that when I apply it to the footage it self, it seems to work in the few tests I have made so far.
The problem occurs when applying it to a adjustment layer.
That also explains the inconsistencies I have noticed, since I sometimes make use of adjustment layers and sometimes not.

But only time will tell if that is the reason…
