I have a 5 sec clip that I am trying to slow down to 25%. My problem is that when I add the effect I only get 5 sec’s of the clip slowed down. I need to have the whole 5 sec clip slowed down so the new duration shold be more than 5 secs…right? Basicly my new clip only contains the first 25% of my entitre clip where as I want the whole clip to be slowed down 25%. Any help?

You could try expanding the In/Out/Duration/Stretch pane (lower left corner of your timeline window) and enter or scrub your duration to 400%. Another way is to use time remapping but might be more useful if you want to ramp your speed of the clip.
